Jöran passed the bar in 2008 and since then has advised corporations as well as directors and officers in matters of corporate and tax law. He also advises foreign authorities in legal aid proceedings before courts in a number of EU member states. Jöran advised clients in various M&A-transactions, amongst them several cross-border and distressed private equity M&As. Furthermore, Jöran advises and represents clients in customs and VAT matters, especially in connection with tax fraud. Jöran’s clients comprise of international technology and trade companies based in Germany, Austria and Hungary. When advising on international matters, Jöran combines legal expertise with the necessary understanding of the respective legal culture, thus enabling his clients to optimally implement what is economically desirable in the best possible legal way. Jöran advises in German and English language and likes to have conversations in Hungarian, too.
